🇮🇳 India’s White-Ball Tour of Bangladesh Postponed to 2026
In another major development, India’s scheduled six-match white-ball tour of Bangladesh, originally set for August 2025, has been postponed to September 2026. The tour was to feature three ODIs and three T20Is, but the decision to defer came after mutual agreement between the BCCI and BCB.
Although the official statement cited “scheduling convenience and international cricketing commitments,” the decision comes amidst strained political ties following last year's uprising in Dhaka and the ousting of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who sought refuge in India.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed its intent to host India in 2026, with exact match dates to be confirmed.
